San Diego is home to some of the biggest names in the sport of sailing including Lowell North, Dennis Conner and numerous Olympic and World Champions. Our fine city has a long tradition of hosting prestigious sailing events including the America’s Cup in 1988, 1992 and 1995 as well as the Olympic Trials and World Championships in many classes such as the Snipe, Etchells and Star.
SEA-San Diego was created to help bring major sailing events to our perfect natural stadium of San Diego Bay and we have hosted both the ORACLE RC44 Regatta and the America’s Cup World Series.
