San Diego Bay, considered to be one of the best natural harbors on the western coast of North America, is a natural amphitheater for sailboat racing. With reliably steady sea breezes that funnel down the bay and the tight contours of the harbor, the area creates challenging, yet fair, racing conditions. San Diego is also known for its warm year-around air and sea temperatures, which make November a great month for racing.
